they may take our lives, but they'll never take our players
The University of Texas at Austin announced yesterday that they will not attempt to take our beloved Players by eminent domain. While they're still attempting to buy the property, any deal would have to be reached in "weeks, not months" in order to meet UT's timeline. Since Carlos and Eddie have no desire to sell, I think it's safe to say we're can enjoy Player's combos long into the future.
The garage will be incorporated into the land already acquired by UT.
The Austin American-Stateman reports this in today's edition.
Damn the man! Save Players!
