saving players has the attention of the state
The Save Players effort is getting excited. As you may know, The University of Texas is attempting to take the land that a local burger place, Players, owns. Lawmakers are moving forward on SB 7, a bill to restrict the ability of the state to take land for private economic gain.
The measure passed the Senate 25-4 and the House 140-1, as amended.
Tomorrow might be a bright day.
