Pope Benedict XVI is the latest YouTube star as the Vatican launched www.YouTube.com/vatican . The channel airs (I suppose “serves” is a more correct verb) short clips of translated messages from the Pope, plus some summary voiceovers played over video of the pontiff.
Looks like President Obama isn’t the only world leader bringing their historic institution into Web 2.0.

Touching the Horns
On the way out of the locker rooms to run out onto the field, each player touches these horns (much like ND’s touching the “Play like a champion today…” sign. Above the horns, it says “Don’t Mess with Texas”.
I’m hoping to get the higher quality images soon, but personally, I only had my BlackBerry on me with a sad 1MP built-in camera.
